Coconut Bar & Kitchen supports Berkshire Vision, a local charity.

We at Coconut Bar & Kitchen are driven by a desire to support the local community and are passionate about helping people and projects. We want to give something back to our community.

When we heard about Berkshire Vision we wanted to help and build awareness for the charity that supports and delivers services to blind and partially sighted children and adults in Berkshire.

Blindness, or a visual impairment can often reduce a child’s self-esteem and increase their sense of isolation and fear. Most attend mainstream school but cannot participate in all the activities and have limited opportunity to spend time with other partially sighted children who understand their difficulties.

For Berkshire Visions, having funds and support would help to provide safe and comfortable journeys to these key events and workshops.

Throughout the year Berkshire Vision have a comprehensive timetable of activities available for their members, such as trips to Legoland, pizza making parties, Zoo trips and sensory touch tours.

These experiences are fundamental for developing confidence and self-esteem, enabling the children to develop the pivotal social skills that are essential for later life.

We met with some of the team from Berkshire Vision and talked about how we could help. We have decided from November we will DONATE £1 from every SUNDAY BRUNCH and volunteer to help with activities.

Friends don’t let friends drink Prosecco alone….

Classics like the Kir Royale and Bellini are both available in our happy hour at just £5.50, and our Pornstar Martini, with its own little shot of Prosecco, is not only available in happy hour at a special price but also has a night of its own every Thursday.

Cocktail Masterclass and Meal  7 of us attended a cocktail master class with Lulu, we chose 2 cocktails each to make, was great fun. Then had a 3 course meal, such great atmosphere and great value  Claire
